We are looking for you: Event Management Specialist, Fixed-Term until 31.05.2020.

Aufgaben: Maternity Leave cover until May 2020, support the Head Marketing & Communications Intermediaries & Global Custody in the development and delivery of the marketing plan aligned with the region’s and the global marketing strategy, ensure that Intermediaries & Global Custody is in line with all JB guidelines relating to CD/CI and the latest MarCom strategy & standards and implement them accordingly across the Intermediaries & Global custody unit globally. Responsible for creating effective and inspirational marketing activities that generate awareness of Julius Baer Intermediaries within the global EAM community. Event management for Intermediaries & Global Custody events, consisting of: Conceptual collaboration with Front Unit, Evaluation of platforms, negotiation with providers and event execution, following up, controlling, Ensuring collaboration with Marketing & Communication stakeholder, Taking on the marketing collateral for the Intermediaries & Global Custody Unit, including pitchbook Intermediaries group folder, sales kit, trifold, factsheets, giveaways, Project management within the Marketing & Communications organisation for Intermediaries & Global Custody projects (e.g. Business Navigator project, social media campaigns, etc.), Remain up-to-date on market developments and trends to align marketing activities, Ensure proactive stakeholder management, Ensure compliance with and application of guidelines and procedures relating to marketing activities e.g. brand, sponsorship.

Anforderungsprofil: Higher education, preferably a bachelor’s degree, Experience within the financial industry, private banking or external asset management industry, at least 5 years of in-depth marketing experience, strong strategic and conceptual skills, strong event management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, languages: proficient in English and French, team player, a desire for continuous improvement and learning, the ability to work independently and solution-oriented, a proactive and flexible approach, travelling is required (20 - 30%).
