For the European Headquarter, based in Winterthur (Switzerland), we are looking for a Event Coordinator 100% (temporary 6-9 months).

In this position, you are responsible for the coordination of all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans as part of the Zimmer Biomet Institute EMEA: the Medical Education, Consultant Management and Grants arm of Zimmer Biomet in EMEA. Mainly, you will be fully responsible for Educational Site Visits (ESV) and EMEA Tours modalities management.

You will be working closely with ZBI team members and country business partners to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects. The project Coordinator/Manager performs various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries.

Aufgaben: Work closely with a diverse group of internal and external individuals including surgeons, Product and Brand Managers, Country Managers, distributors, RVP’s and Zimmer Biomet senior management to develop unique programs for ESVs and EMEA Tours modalities. Coordinate event management activities, resources, equipment and information. Liaise with stakeholders internally to identify and define requirements, scope and objectivesAssign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management. Ensure the instructional integrity of course development projects through systematic design and clear writing of goals, objectives, assessments, content, storyboards, etc. Conduct accurate learning needs analysis to ensure appropriateness of instructional materials at each event in close interaction with the learning development team.

Anforderungsprofil: Bachelor’s degree, preferably including formal studies in education and/or business required. 7-10 years of experience in a similar functio. Languages: fluency in English and German is a must. Experienceworking directly with customers, opinion leaders, technical experts and professional staff in medical device or healthcare industry preferred. Experience in strategic planning of medical education functions, generating new ideas to enhance customer skills and learning. Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills as well as solid organizational skills including attention to details and multi-tasking skills. This dynamic job position requires a willingness to travel (approximately 20%).
