We are looking for a highly motivated personality for our office in Davos as a Project Manager AOSpine Congresses (80% - 100%) who will support the congress team in planning and execution of the AOSpine annual congress – the Global Spine Congress.

Aufgaben: Manage the scientific program of the congress from start of the planning process until the end of the successful execution of the congress, manage the speakers (invitations, point of contact for any questions and issues, Travel & Accommodation, etc) in close collaboration with the Senior Project Manager and PCO, handle the abstracts management process (submission, review, publication) in close collaboration with the Senior Project Manager and PCO, take care of CME accreditation, organize pre-courses and other educational events related to the congress, develop and implement the live-streaming project, take responsibility for organizing of all governance meetings and networking events, establish and analyze process performance, evaluation and statistics about tasks under her/his responsibility, supervize, coordinate and work closely with appointed professional congress organizer (PCO) in his/her areas of responsibility, further assignment in additional projects as required by Congress Manager.

Anforderungsprofil: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in event management, planning and execution of congresses with over 1000 attendees, specific know-how and experience in international medical scientific congress management is required, professional experience in organizing educational programmes and events for Continuing Medical Education (CME), including abstract submission, publications etc;, experience with concept development, implementation and delivery of new and interactive e-learning educational formats, covering live-streaming, experience in a medical or scientific affairs environment, strong project management skills, excellent organizational and coordination skills, ability to effectively work to tight deadlines and to manage multiple projects at the same time, experience working with event agencies and other suppliers, excellent team player, excellent oral and written communication in English, additional languages are a plus.
